On MMORPGs
I admit it, I was an EverQuest junkie. From around April, 1999 until December 2001 I logged over 80 full days of playing EverQuest. That's around 2000 hours of playtime in just over 2 years! But relatively speaking, I wasn't even a serious addict: I regularly received complaints that I didn't play enough! I have to admit, it was good while it lasted... I mean I could spend hours fishing for food, days camping a particular monster just to get a chance of finding a better helm, boots, or other "loot". The game was, at times, a lot of fun. And sometimes I miss my High Elf Paladin, and I wonder what could have been if I continued playing. But now he is just a memory.
